Ordering a Guitar (No Case)

Guitars ordered without a case are sent in sturdy cardboard shipping cartons. Within Australia guitars are sent by Australia Post registered mail. Insurance is required, ensuring the safe receipt of the instrument. This method of delivery is generally the quickest and easiest. Someone will need to be present to sign for its delivery; otherwise it will need to be collected from the local post office.

The total cost including insurance within Australia is generally $70-100. It varies based on the delivery location so if you would like an accurate quote please contact us with your postcode.

Ordering a Guitar With Hardshell Case

Due to postage size restrictions, guitars in cases (or cases alone) can only be sent within Australia by courier. The cost is generally $70-120 including insurance to most capital cities. Regional locations are sometimes higher. Contact us for a quote.

Often we can sell cases for other Weissenborn style guitars. The Gold Tone cases we stock are designed to accommodate many different hollowneck guitars based on the Weissenborn, including the Cole Clark Violap.

International Orders

International orders are sent via International Express Post (airmail). This is generally the most effective and safest way of sending instruments internationally. All guitars are sent with insurance to protect your investment and delivery typically takes 3-7 business days. A shipment number will be made available to track the shipment online.

Due to shipping size restrictions, regretably we cannot send guitar cases internationally. If you are looking for a simple Weissenborn case, we recommend you find a Gold Tone distributor in your area.
