Below are accessories available for Weissenborn and lap steel guitars.
One of the best lap steel slides on the market. I find myself always coming back to the SP2 because of its comfortable shape, heavy mass and semi-bullet tip designed to make solos and tricky slide work a piece of cake.
This hardshell case fits all acoustic Weissenborn style guitars offered on this website, as well as original Weissenborns, other replicas and many other hollowneck slide guitars, including the Cole Clark Violap.
It features an internal design to safely and snugly hold the guitar's square hollow neck.
Due to their size, delivery via Australia Post is not available. Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing a case. Pickup is available from my Brisbane workshop, or they can be delivered within Australia via courier.
An ideal option for customers who don't wish to go through the normal 3-6 month waiting period on custom guitars, guitars listed here are completed and ready for their new owner.

With outstanding figuring and every colour from light blondes to black, this Tasmanian Blackwood has a wild, evocative appearance, capped off with an equally interesting Macassar Ebony bridge featuring contasting browns and blacks.
Model I made from a modest yet richly figured set of Tasmanian Blackwood. The unassuming elegance is topped off with a matching Tasmanian Blackwood fretboard.
Model I made from a wildly figured figured set of Tasmanian Blackwood, featuring a stunning sapwood centre strip. It is topped off with a matching Tasmanian Blackwood fretboard with abalone inlay.
Owing to the natural bindingless look, this Model I features an understated beauty that lets the tremendously figured Tasmanian Blackwood speak for itself. Topped off with a Macassar Ebony fretboard with Blackwood and Abalone inlay giving the instrument a dark, evocative look.

Owing to the natural bindingless look, this Model I features an understated beauty that lets the tremendously figured Tasmanian Blackwood speak for itself. Topped off with a matching Blackwood fretboard with Maple and Abalone inlay. There are two guitars available that have been made from the same timber, this one features no sapwood.

Featuring the attractive combination of Spruce and Qld Maple, not only does this guitar look and sound great, the combination of woods allows for a significantly cheaper instrument without sacrificing quality or tone.
In order to focus entirely on acoustic instruments, this is the very last electric lap steel to be sold by Richard Wilson Guitars for the foreseeable future! This could be your last chance to own this unique design.
There is a small blemish in the wood directly next to the pickup which occurred when drilling for the guitar's wiring. See photo #7 for a close look at it. In light of this, the guitar is being offered at $100 off its normal price.
Unlike the standard Model I I sell, this guitar features a few unique elements. Instead of the standard plain (figure-less) Tasmanian Blackwood body, this guitar features brilliantly figured top/back/sides. Instead of the standard Ebony fretboard, this guitar features a matching figured Tasmanian Blackwood bridge featuring Maple fret markets, similar to the Koa fretboards seen on original Weissenborns. Capped off with stunning Abalone inlay, this guitar makes the most of the natural bindingless appearance of the Model I, with the brilliant tone and exceptional sustain you can expect from a Weissenborn style guitar.
This guitar is made from the second of two sets of exceptionally figured Hawaiian Koa that I have acquired over the years. The depth of the amazing figuring throughout the sides and back is among the finest I've ever come across. The guitar is finished with a thin satin finish.
Western Red Cedar gives this guitar an exceptional warmth in its tone and brilliant volume. The clarity of notes makes this lap steel ideal for delicate fingerpicking, but also equally lends itself to any number of other playing styles.
As the photos immediately show, this is a special guitar. This guitar is made from one of two sets of exceptionally figured Hawaiian Koa that I have acquired over the years. The depth of the amazing figuring throughout the sides and back needs to be seen in person to be truly believed. During construction, only a minimal black top edge binding was installed, leaving the back/side joint exposed to let the natural beauty of this guitar speak for itself. The guitar is finished with a thin satin finish.
